Warts can be removed by paring or cutting and reported with either CPT 11056 or CPT 11057.

• CPT Code 11056: Paring or cutting of benign hyperkeratotic lesion (eg, corn or callus) 2 to 4 lesions
• CPT Code 11057: Paring or cutting of benign hyperkeratotic lesion (eg, corn or callus) more than 4 lesions

Excision of Benign Lesion (Trunk, Arms, or Legs)

You can use the following CPT codes for wart removal from the trunk, arms, or legs.

• CPT Code 11401: Excision, benign lesion including margins, except skin tag (unless listed elsewhere), trunk, arms or legs excised diameter
